Map of the area

Local Attractions

Whipsnade Zoo and wild animal park is a short distance away and also has a small railway, and children's play area.
We are situated on Dunstable Downs which is a spectacular viewing point being 800 feet high. Also a favoured  area for both fixed wing gliders from the London Gliding club, and hang or paragliding, best in westerly winds.
A lot of the area is National Trust land and there are many walks and footpaths including parts of the Icknield Way which dates from the time of the Roman occupation of the area when nearby Dunstable was a major cross roads and staging post.
There are two golf courses nearby; Dunstable Downs Club and Whipsnade Golf Club and others a short distance away.
Also we are only eight miles from Luton airport which is an international point of entry.
